SHIPPING

Q. Why is your shipping so costly?

In order for your pie to be delivered to you fresh, 2 day or next day shipping is the best.  Shipping ground or other ways may be cheaper but it could take up 5-7 days to get it to you and that is unacceptable to us.

WHEN BAKING OUR FROZEN PIES IN YOUR OVEN

Thank you for purchasing one of our frozen pies. We want to be sure you have the best possible experience when baking at home so we have answered some of the more frequently asked questions regarding the baking time and how to tell when our pie is ready.
Every oven is different. Some cook a bit hotter and others cooler than the temp the oven is set at. You may have even noticed that maybe your oven cooks hotter on one side or the other, or on the top rack vs the bottom rack. Either way, it is safe to say that no two ovens are alike! With that said it can be difficult to give specific directions for your oven. The directions you were given for your pie are general and cover most oven cooking times fairly well. But yours may be different, so if you don’t feel like your pie looks right, here are some ways to fix it so that you can have the delicious pie that you expect. . .

Q: I thawed my pie in the fridge overnight and it still feels frozen in the middle?

Some pies do not completely thaw in the middle due to varying refrigerator temps.

Q: I baked my frozen pie just like the directions said and it’s all runny inside and raw looking on the bottom. What do I do?

Have no fear, your pie is not ruined! If it is already golden brown on top and/or you have already let it cool and it is still a bit runny inside, it may not have baked long enough under the foil. Simply cover your pie with foil and place in a preheated oven at 425 for 15-20 minutes. If you have already cooled your pie, you may need to give it 30 more minutes to bring it back up to heat. Covering it with foil will allow the filling to cook without burning your crust.

Q: My crust is very dark on top and my pie hasn’t finished cooking what do I do?

You can cover your pie with foil and continue to bake according to directions.
